Lyne Chiniara, MD, MA, FRCPC
Pediatrician and endocrinologist
Dr. Chiniara is a pediatric endocrinologist at CHU Sainte-Justine and an adjunct clinical professor at the Université de Montréal. She obtained her medical doctorate degree from the Université de Montréal in 2008 and completed her training in pediatric endocrinology at CHU Sainte-Justine in 2013. She also holds a master’s degree in University Pedagogy of Medical Sciences from the Université de Montréal. She is the first pediatric endocrinologist in Quebec to complete specialized training in the care of transgender and nonbinary youth at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. She is the co-founder and co-medical director of the Gender Diversity Clinic at CHU Sainte-Justine.
